“Women’s Iconography in the Twenty First Century”

Women’s iconography in the 21st Century seeks to both promote the work of female iconography and to foster interfaith dialogue by leading public workshops creating icons of women from a variety of religious and secular backgrounds.

Participants will be guided by artist Brian Baker who has created a method of art-making inspired by the icon making process.

Dr. Azelina Flint is Assistant Lecturer in English at Maynooth University.

Venue:  Solas Bhride Centre, Tully Road, Kildare Town

Time:  1.30 p.m. – 6.30 p.m.

Admission: €10.00 – includes light lunch and cost of art materials
