Dine in the Dark

It’s light out at The K Club for a special sustainable dinner taking place this May. On Friday 17th May, The K Club is flipping the switch, turning up the fun and serving up a six-course feast that’s bursting with local produce and paired with wines from planet-friendly producers.

The hotel’s new Executive Chef Gary O’Hanlon has worked with The Barton restaurant’s Head Chef Marek Zboril to create a sustainably-minded, six-course menu built around a treasure trove of locally-sourced core ingredients all from Kildare. All to be enjoyed solely by candlelight in the stunning surrounds of The Barton.

The county’s bounty will be showcased alongside expertly chosen wine pairings from the pioneering Familia Torres; fourth generation winemakers who have dedicated their wineries to planet-positive practices, working towards the ambitious target of net zero emissions by 2040. The K Club’s world class head sommelier Lisa O’Doherty will guide diners through each drop as the sun sets and soft, flickering candlelight sets the evening aglow.

The Dine in the Dark event will take place on Friday 17th May will begin with a drinks reception at 7.30pm. Tickets are available for €125 per person.
